About Us
A calm, credible home for health and wellness information
TheHealingBlog is an independent educational platform helping people make confident, everyday decisions about their health.

Who we are
Founded to cut through the health noise
TheHealingBlog began in 2019 when a small group of writers, a registered dietitian and a physiotherapist grew frustrated with how confusing online health advice had become. What started as a weekly email to friends and family is now a library of more than 250 guides read by tens of thousands of people each month.
We are a content publisher, not a clinic. We do not diagnose, treat or sell health products. Our only role is to explain what current evidence suggests, in language that respects your time and intelligence, so you can have better conversations with the professionals who care for you.
Our mission
To make reliable health and wellness knowledge understandable and usable for everyone — regardless of budget, background or starting point — through free educational content on nutrition, fitness, mental wellness, healthy habits, preventive care and self-care.
Our vision
A world where preventive, everyday wellbeing is common knowledge rather than specialist knowledge — where anyone can find trustworthy guidance in minutes and feel equipped to take the next small step for their health.
Core values
What guides every article we publish
Accuracy first
We follow the evidence, cite reputable sources and correct anything that no longer holds up.
Compassion
Health journeys are personal. We write without shame, blame or unrealistic expectations.
Independence
Our editorial decisions are never influenced by supplement brands or product sponsors.
Accessibility
Content is free, jargon-free and written for readers of every background and ability.
Our approach
How we make information reliable
Trust is earned through process. Every guide on TheHealingBlog moves through the same four stages before it is published, and returns for review at least once a year.
Ask us about our sources- 1
Research
We start with systematic reviews, national health guidelines and peer-reviewed studies rather than press releases or social media claims.
- 2
Draft
Writers translate the findings into plain language, keeping nuance intact and flagging where the evidence is still uncertain.
- 3
Professional review
A qualified practitioner in the relevant field checks the article for accuracy, safety and appropriate caveats.
- 4
Scheduled updates
Published guides are revisited on a rolling schedule and revised whenever recommendations change.
